Femnista March/April 2016

The latest issue of Femnista is out now!  You can read it online here, or download it as a PDF file here.  In it, I've reviewed the film One Night with the King (2006), which retells the Biblical story of Esther.

  1. I really enjoyed this issue--it has a lot of my favorite people in it (Esther, Thomas Aquinas, Perpetua, and so on), so it was really fun!

I'm thinking of asking Charity if I can submit something to one of the upcoming issues. What do you think--should I?

    1. YES! By all means, talk to Charity about contributing! She's got slots open still for the rest of this year's issues. This page has the info on how to contact her and what the rest of this year's themes are. You should absolutely do this!

    2. Thank you!!!! Your encouragement means a lot :-) I think I might try writing one for the Shakespeare issue--I'd love to do the "When Worlds Collide" one but I won't have time to finish something before the deadline.

    3. That sounds like a good plan! I'm really looking forward to the Shakespeare issue. I bet you can't guess what play I'm going to write about ;-)

  2. I enjoyed the book and the film. I liked your review although it was tricky reading online. I think I will download the pdf and take a better look.

    1. Thanks, Martha! I do think reading the magazine in PDF is easier, so I hope that works for you.
